Join us for this engaging talk by Ruth Richardson, her talk will focus on Robert Louis Stevenson’s extraordinary and haunting story 'The Body Snatcher'. 'Body snatching' became more prevalent during the 18th and 19th Centuries as dissection became more important to medical science. Richardson also considers the influence of this reality in Mary Shelley's 'Frankenstein'.
