Gemma Ramage, the designer behind Bijou Boudoir, has loved designing from a young age where she soon got hooked on fashion by helping her mum, a former seamstress herself to create stylish clothes. She went on to study fashion and clothing at Lichfield’s School of Art and Leeds College of Art & Design where she realised she had a keen eye for fashion designing and wanted to create her own women’s independent fashion label.Soon after her graduation Gemma set up her first studio in her parents spare room creating ‘one size fits all’ pieces for her label Bijou Boudoir. Numerous collections, celebrity fans and a loyal following later the label is still going strong and continues to sell in boutiques all over the UK.
