Egg-cellent Easter fun at Drayton Manor Resort
Join in all the theme park fun this Easter time at Drayton Manor Resort. Experience the whole theme park, with all the fun and excitement of over 100 rides and attractions, including live entertainment and an Easter trail.
Enjoy your favourite rides, such as Shockwave, Apocalypse, River Rapids, Accelerator and so much more. Along with Europe’s only Thomas Land – featuring over 25 rides and attractions, live shows and Sir Topham Hatt himself.

Discover the Staffordshire Regiment Museum
The Staffordshire Regiment Museum in Whittington is hosting one of its famous Discovery Days on Easter Monday. There will be costumed personnel on site, offering guided tours of the trenches and informative (and probably amusing) talks.
There will also be a 1940’s themed Woman’s Voluntary Service mobile tea wagon serving light refreshments throughout the day. With plenty to explore, a great play area and outdoor space to enjoy your tea, it’s a great family day out!
A trail with a twist
The Samuel Johnson Birthplace Museum is hosting some wonderful Easter-themed family fun for the school holidays.
You can explore Samuel Johnson’s historic home with a fun seasonal twist with the Easter trail, which costs just £1 each and will be available from the Museum's reception desk throughout the Easter holidays.
Fun in Beacon Park
Throughout the Easter holiday you can enjoy a fun, Easter themed puzzle trail around Beacon Park. There are two levels of clues, and you can solve either or both sets of puzzles to find out the Easter Bunny's favourite spring flowers. The trail includes entry into a prize draw to win one of five grow your own seed kits for kids.
The trails is running daily from Saturday, April 2 until Sunday, April 24, and it’s just £1 per trail - pencils 20p extra (or you can bring your own). Start from Ranger Station, near the crazy golf, where you can get your trail leaflet between 9am and 4pm.
There is also going to be a Carrot Day on Friday, April 22! A celebration of all things Carrot, activities will include seed planting, carrot javelin, carrot orienteering and much more. Head on over to the Community Garden in Beacon Park between 11am and 2pm, there’s no need to book, just turn up.
Get active in Lichfield District
Lichfield Cathedral is offering a unique way to get active, with the chance to book a go on a climbing wall on Saturday, April 23. Try your hand at scaling an 8m high climbing wall at the Cathedral to get a whole new perspective on the great west front.
It’s a great chance to conquer your fears, explore your sense of adventure and step out of your comfort zone! Suitable for ages 4+, it’s a great new experience for anyone who gives it a go. Make sure you book your slot.
The Active Lichfield team has also lined up a range of fab activities during the holidays to get you moving. You can try soft archery, dodgeball, and more, with many of the sessions running for free or costing £2 at most.
Visit the farm and meet Peter Rabbit
Bradshaw Brothers in Burntwood is hosting a series of Easter events over the holidays. You can join Farm School and learn to be a farmer for the day. There will be a series of fun games and a packed lunch for every child taking part.
There's also an Easter Eggstravaganza with Peter Rabbit! There will be Easter egg hunts, face painting, egg and spoon races, an Easter bonnet parade, the chance to take photos with Peter Rabbit and adorable baby animals to meet.
Also, throughout the Easter holidays there are a range of activities to enjoy to celebrate Spring on the Farm. Don't miss out!
