Cathedral Café wins prestigious recognition

Where in Lichfield can you enjoy quality food and drink is an historic surrounding which even boasts its own brand of wine?
We’re talking about Chapters, the café at Lichfield Cathedral which is celebrating after winning a place to be a member of the Taste of Stafford, a quality assurance scheme run by the Staffordshire tourist association.
It means when you visit Chapters you can be sure to get good quality freshly prepared food and drink.
On offer daily is a wide range of food from main meals, sandwiches, paninis, soup, cakes, cream teas tea/coffee and the café is also licensed.
Café manager, Helen Phillips said: “You can also get Sunday lunch, there is a Christmas Menu and we can cater for corporate lunches and events in our function rooms.”
Chapters is open 7 days a week Monday to Saturday from 9am until 4pm, and Sunday 10am until 4pm.
The café is situated in The Close near Dam Street and has a lovely walled garden.
