Twenty Twenty vision for Beacon Park Bower entertainment

A rising boy band who have toured with The Wanted and performed with JLS will top the bill for this year’s Lichfied Greenhill Bower festivities in Beacon Park on May 30th.

Twenty Twenty are already confirmed at some of the major music festivals this summer but will be the star attraction when they perform and meet fans at Lichfield’s Spring Bank Holiday bonanza (2pm), which attracted over  15,000 people last year.

There will also be two performances in the main arena from Streetball Extreme, internationally well known free style urban talented group who have appeared on several adverts including the Pringles advert, Citv and also did a series on Sky TV. Streetball Extreme (SBX) is a dynamic, exciting urban entertainment involving the best freestylers from the world of football, basketball, BMX, skateboard, MCs, beat boxing, street dance and break dancing. For your chance to perform on stage with the lads make sure you get along to one of their workshops - if you make the grade you could find yourself part of their performance.

Tropical Inc, an exotic animal live road show featuring pigmy hedgehogs, snakes and, and MAD mountain bike display and stunt team will also be entertaining the crowds at the event, which runs alongside the historic Bower procession.

The family fun day will include traditional favourites including slides and bouncy castles, Pat Collins Fair, quad bikes, paintball, bungee trampoline, face painting and a circus workshop.

BRMB Roadshow will be hosting the day with competitions and giveaways from 1pm, and organisers are hoping for a repeat of last year’s bumper crowds.

Beth Colley, Beacon Park Organiser, said: “Many other festivals around the country are unfortunately not taking place this year so it is fantastic to see the numbers increasing for the Bower and especially in Beacon Park, where the whole family can enjoy a packed programme of events for just £2.50 per person entrance fee – with under 5’s free.

“Last year’s event was a huge success but we’ve managed to make it even bigger and better this year with some unbelievable acts coming to Lichfield it promises to the best one yet.”
