The Jazz and Real Ale Festival at The National Brewery Centre, Burton

A brilliant annual event - a weekend of great Jazz music, a fantastic range of beers – and great food!

A selection of around nine jazz bands will be playing over the weekend featuring a wide range of genres.

Headline acts will include – direct from Belgium – ‘The Busquitos’ who play music from the 'Roaring Twenties' till yesterday. Hot Club, Jazz, Pop Rock & Roll, Classical Music, you’ll hear it all!

Plus! Society Swing presented by Tony Carter - a tribute to the masters of traditional British jazz legends - bringing you the great music of Kenny Ball, Acker Bilk and Chris Barber. This six piece band, dressed in their whites and stripes, pay homage to these fantastic jazz legends with all of the classics from that golden era.

Other acts include: Emma Jonson Duo, Remi Harris Trio, Sheffield Jazz Trio Chronology, Society Swing, Wil Pearson, Jamie Brownfield Trio, Jim Wynn, Not Strictly Jazz and The AB Trio.  

Mike Stickland, CEO of Planning Solutions Ltd, which manages The National Brewery Centre, comments: “As well as great jazz, we also look forward to bringing you a wide selection of ales and a selection of ciders sourced from small independent brewers – with many from our own on-site Heritage Brewery such as Charrington’s IPA and Worthington White Shield.”

Visitors can also enjoy a wide range of food stalls and the Brewery Tap Bar and Restaurant and Cooper’s café will also be open.

Prices will include entrance to the National Brewery Centre museum (guided tours available for an extra charge on the day).

TICKETS £10 for Friday or Saturday evening (7pm - 11.30pm) or £6 for Saturday or Sunday daytime (10am - 6pm). All weekend ticket £20.
