Cosy old-fashioned local pub dating from 1834, the pub features a wealth of wooden beams and open fires in winter. The central island bar serves a small room to the front and a larger area to the rear, with a dining room to one side. The small beer terrace to the front and large rear garden provide for outdoor drinking. A hot food menu is served Monday to Saturday and a carvery on Sunday.
