Our Green Badge Guided Tours provide a wide range of fantastic tours for all the family to enjoy. Tours will last for approximately 1.5 hours each, other than those which include refreshments. Please wear sensible shoes and appropriate clothing, especially on the winter evening tours.

Spring Tours 2016

Blood Thirsty Lichfield
Tuesday 29 March at 10.30am
Price £2 for both adults and children.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
This tour gives a thrilling insight into Lichfield’s gory past - great for keeping the kids occupied during half-term!

Darwin and the Lunarticks! ** Special 2016 tour **

Wednesday 18 May at 2pm
Price £6.25 per person to include refreshments
2016 is the 250th anniversary of the formation of the Lunar Society -
discover the central role that Erasmus Darwin played and learn about the other 'Lunarticks'! Refreshments wil be served at the end of the tour at Erasmus Darwin House.

 

Summer Tours 2016

Civil War tour
Wednesday 15 June at 2pm
Price £3 per person
Hear about the bloody battles that ensued, how the cathedral was almost destroyed
and learn the tragic fate of Lord Brooke.

Georgian Gems    
Tuesday 21 June at 7pm

Lichfield was home to many famous Georgian characters and this tour tells their stories

Alrewas Village Tour

Price £6.25 to include a cream tea at The Crown pub, Post Office Road, Alrewas
Alrewas is a small,quaint village 20 minutes from Lichfield and has a fascinating history
with chocolate box cover cottages - discover its secrets on this tour!

Gruesome and Ghostly Tours October to December 2016

An evening to make your blood curdle and your spine tingle! The tour is rounded off with a visit to a local pub for a glass of mulled wine and a sausage roll.

Halloween Specials: 26, 27 and 31 October

10, 15, 16, 23 and 29 November. 7, 8, 12 and 15 December 

** All the above tours are from 7pm - 8.30pm

Cost - £6.25 per person to include refreshments at a local pub after the tour (mulled wine and a hot sausage roll -
vegetarian / vegan equivalent available).
