Historic Parks - funding bid successful

Restoring the former glory of our much loved city centre parks is now a reality, after the Heritage Lottery Fund and Big Lottery Fund announced that Lichfield centre's historic parks have been awarded a grant of nearly £4 million under the 'Parks for People' programme.
Beacon Park will now become home to a new cafe, refreshment kiosk, toilets, a revamped playground, and a new bowls and education pavilion.
