Erasmus Darwin House to close for refurbishment throughout June

One of Lichfield's top attractions Erasmus Darwin House is set to close throughout June for a major refurbishment. The project - funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, Staffordshire Environmental Fund via the Landfill Communities Fund and other local organisations, will see an exciting new exhibition across two rooms.

Curator Alison Wallis said: "This is a very exciting time. The refurbishment aims to improve the facilities in the exhibition but, more importantly, raise awareness of the amazing Dr Darwin."
