Lichfield District big winner at Heart of England Excellence in Tourism awards

Lichfield District bagged several awards at the Heart of England Excellence in Tourism awards ceremony, held at the ICC in Birmingham.
The successful evening started with an award for Lynne Barkas of the National Memorial Arboretum for her Outstanding Customer Care. The NMA also won highly commended in the Large Visitor Attraction category, which was won by Britain's best loved theme park Drayton Manor.
Colton House added another award to their already impressive range, winning best Bed & Breakfast/Guest Accommodation. And Lichfield Tourist Information Centre was once again rewarded for its superb customer service quality, winning the Silver award for Best Tourist Information Service of the Year.
So with two award winning attractions, a B&B and Tourist Information Centre, make sure you don't miss Lichfield District - truly an award winning destination!
