Alrewas Arts Festival 2018


This fabulous FREE week-long festival takes place in the picturesque village of Alrewas.

It launches on Saturday, August 25, with a vibrant craft street market and concludes on September 1 with an outdoor Party in the Park musical extravaganza and fireworks. Throughout the week, there are dozens of workshops and performances, including a variety of classical, choral and folk concerts, drama, books, quizzes, festival kitchen plus art and photographic exhibitions to browse, trails for children to explore and some not-so-classical rumbustious evenings. The theme this year revolves around the tribal history of the area and beyond. There will be coracles and camels, tepees and totem poles, mud ovens, stone spirals and traditional games - all created by local artists and craftspeople.
