Getting here and parking
By Road
Leave Lichfield at The Bowling Green Island via A51 signposted Rugeley and Stafford. At traffic lights by the Hedgehog Pub go straight ahead. At next traffic island turn right onto A515 signposted Ashbourne. Approx 1 mile later ,after roundabouts garage, turn left onto B5014 signposted Rugeley/Armitage/Uttoxeter. After approx 2 miles turn right after the railway bridge, continuing on the B5014 towards Uttoxeter. At the next junction with fish & chip shop on the right, turn right. Follow road to Hill Ridware. Just before the Royal Oak pub turn sharp left into Church Lane. After 1/2 mile turn right by the wooden railings and green shed. Proceed about 200 metres along lane to Stable Cottage. Look for the stone pigs on the gate post.
