Samuel Johnson Birthplace Bookshop

The Samuel Johnson Birthplace Bookshop is a well stocked second-hand bookshop with a friendly welcome. The shop is located in the very same room that Michael Johnson, Samuel’s father, ran the family business over 300 years ago! The range covers everything from modern fiction and children’s books to history, biography and travel. Every purchase helps raise funds for the Museum, and donations of books are always welcome.
