The Very Revd Adrian Dorber, Dean of Lichfield, says: “Our world is turbulent and frightening just now. The terror attacks over the past few years have caused great grief and heartbreak for many people. We would like to pray for all those whose lives have been lost, and those who have lost loved ones. Our prayers, at the moment, are with Nice. Please join the vigil to express to express solidarity and support, compassion and hope.”

The Cathedral has also set up a candle station, where visitors can light a candle and write a prayer on one of the cards provided.
