National Memorial Arboretum

The National Memorial Arboretum is the UK’s year-round Centre of Remembrance where you can celebrate and honour the men and women who have served our Nation in many different ways.

With 150 acres of beautiful woodland and gardens to explore and over 300 unique memorials to see you will be fascinated by the many memorials and the amazing stories and symbolism behind them.

The National Memorial Arboretum is home to the striking Armed Forces Memorial which commemorates those who have been killed on duty or as a result of terrorism from the end of the Second World War to the present day.

To help you make the most of your visit guided walks and tours, learning activities, exhibitions, and a restaurant and gift shop are available. An Act of Remembrance, including a silence, is observed daily in the Millennium Chapel at 11am.
There are a wide range of family learning and discovery activities available, including World War I discovery trails, a children’s play and picnic area, as well as exciting school holiday activities to enjoy.
